2017

The Alamir Store Middle Eastern deli has been going strong at this address for around 8 years. Its window displays are always crammed with trays of Baklava and other treats, with wooden crates of fruit and veg outside.

Upstairs it retains the original, delicate sash windows which used to be visible next door at 76 before replacement with double glazing.

2015: A view of 78a by artist Eleanor Greenhalgh. Its two neighbours are visible: Quarterhorse Coffee at number 76 (closed in 2016), and Door 74 at number 74 (also closed in 2016).
