The Alamir Store Middle Eastern deli has been going strong at this address for around 8 years. Its window displays are always crammed with trays of Baklava and other treats, with wooden crates of fruit and veg outside.
Upstairs it retains the original, delicate sash windows which used to be visible next door at 76 before replacement with double glazing.
2008
A photo by ceridwen from geograph.org.uk shows the shop in use as 'The Beauty Parlour', painted bright yellow.
2000s

Rainbows End comic book store. (Thomsons Directory 1984 No 78, 1991 No 78a.) It appears it was in a location prior to this which can be seen in this Flickr photo.
Before 1980s
This was originally part of WS Cooke and Sons refurbishers, which is still open in the back part of the same building on Temple Street.
