The upstairs is vacant office space which has been up for rent for several years. In early 2017 it was briefly occupied and opened as a squatted night shelter by the Iffley Open House group, a partnership between local homeless people and activists formed to provide shelter throughout the coldest months of the 2016-17 winter <ref https://iffleyopenhouse.org</ref>.
