2016-present

The 'Spiced Roots' Caribbean restaurant and rum bar opened here in 2016.

2015

There were various Indian restaurants at this address before it was completely refurbished by the incoming proprietor of Spiced Roots.

This was the Kashmiri Tandoori restaurant for about 30 years before closing in the early 2010s.  It was a great place to eat and probably the best Indian restaurant on the Cowley Road, but was very old school in style. A 2006 advert in the Times lists lunches priced at £5 with dinners at either £5 or £10. [1]
