2017: The distinctive mural crouching above the shopfront, on the eastern end of this row of colourfully decorated terraces.

The Coral off-track betting shop is at 270-272 Cowley Road.

The corporate facade contrasts strongly with the murals on the upper floor which have become emblematic of Cowley Road. Fortunately, unlike other buildings in the same row, these murals have not yet been painted over.

Windrush Insurance Brokers, established 1971, used to be located here before the business moved to Kidlington in around ?2009.

Early 20th Century

2017: The building's eastern wall on the corner of Leopold Street. This was the site of the last tram stop from the city, commemorated in the mural.

This building is on the site of the eastern terminus and stabling of the horse-drawn tram, which used to run into the city centre. The tram is commemorated in the mural on the eastern wall.
