2016: The recently closed La Croissanterie, boarded up to prevent rough sleepers using the doorway.

For years this was the independently owned La Croissanterie French takeaway, serving baguettes and snacks. In 2016 the business closed. With a sharp rise in rough sleeping that year, the recessed doorway was quickly occupied by night sleepers. By the end of the year the shopfront had been boarded up.
